This is a type of oral translation in which the interpreter expresses what the speaker is saying in real time and in another language, normally by means of technical equipment and a booth located in the same room. It can also be done remotely, or through portable systems (no booth required).
Remote interpretation
This is a type of oral translation in which the interpreter and the speaker are located at a distance, in different places. Very useful for online events. It is typically simultaneous and requires use of technology.
Consecutive interpretation
This is a type of oral translation in which the speaker expresses an idea or a fragment, then stops, and allows the interpreter to translate. The speaker and the interpreter take turns.
